About Our Client
We’re partnering with a private, growth-oriented organization in the equipment manufacturing space that is expanding through both organic growth and acquisitions.
Over the past year, the leadership team has made significant investments in building out infrastructure and positioning the company for long-term scalability. This is a high-visibility opportunity to partner directly with operational leaders and play a key role in shaping HR processes across a multi-entity environment.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with the company’s Directors at multi-locations who operate as leaders of their respective business units
- Help transition branches from independently run businesses into a more structured and scalable HR environment
- Build and implement standardized HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, policies, and handbooks
- Evaluate current practices and proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks
- Balance maintaining flexibility for legacy operators while introducing consistency across the organization
- Act as a trusted advisor to branch leaders on HR best practices and people-related decisions
- Support risk mitigation efforts as the organization continues to grow and prepare for a future sale
- Drive change management across multiple acquired entities with varying levels of structure

What You Bring
- Experience partnering directly with operations leaders, founders, or autonomous business units
- Proven ability to build and standardize HR processes in a multi-entity or acquisition-driven environment
- Strong understanding of compliance and risk mitigation
- Ability to influence strong personalities who are used to running their own businesses
- High initiative with the ability to identify problems and implement solutions independently
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environment
- Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset rather than overly policy-driven
- Confidence to push back and drive alignment when needed without formal authority
